Embrace your side character

What's your side character? What's something that most people don't know about you or a character trait that you are forced to hold in on most occasions? My side characters: I love to dance. It's fun, good exercise, and you hardly ever see anyone grumpy or sad when a good tune is on. Music is my jam. All types and kinds, so if I know the lyrics I'll sing it even though I have the worst voice. As long as the music is loud it doesn't matter how I sound. Last, I love taking risks... calculated risks. I don't ever see my ideas as failures. What I see as a failure is if I give up on my ideas, risks, and thoughts. Giving up is never an option. It's just not my style.

This risk of buying a house and renovating it has had its setbacks. The cost of carrying another mortgage while putting someone through college has been stressful. Each time I think about almost completing a project something in my life pops up and throws a wrench in the plan. Being creative with cost isn't always easy.

Facebook marketplace has been a real friend. Finding deals that people don't use anymore takes time and energy. These lights cost less than $100.

Being creative is always fun. It can be frustrating though. My ideas sometimes don't tturn into the visuals I have in my head.

Found three bookshelves on FB for $50. Turned them into radiator covers and used the remaining shelves for an empty closet.

So think about your side character and put it in the forefront. People will see a different side of you.
