When first buying this house many of the rooms had carpeting. The wood floors underneath were in decent shape. After renting a sander and using it for a full two days. The floors are cleaned up. Now just deciding if they should stay natural with a coat of poly or add a stain to them. Here are the befores and afters. Feel free to shed some thoughts on to stain or leave them be.
I call these befores the "teenage years". The years where the ugliness of growth is in full effect. Where you don't want your picture taken. Getting through the teenage growth spurt feels like an eternity. Getting through this phase and coming out the other side is a feat in of itself. Afterward you have a sense of confidence. A time where you take some risks.
This Reno is beginning to mature.
